Transformation Manager
- Prague, Czechia
- Full-Time
- Remote
Job Description:
This role exists because software deployment alone doesn't guarantee success. The Client needs a strategic leader to own the customer's business transformation, ensuring the platform delivers measurable P&L impact and driving expansion from initial pilots to enterprise-wide adoption.
This is not a customer success role — it's a "consultant-in-residence" role. The candidate must be a builder who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape a new function from the ground up, comfortable with a high-velocity, candid culture where results speak louder than words.
A former Engagement Manager (or equivalent) from a top-tier consulting firm (MBB, Big 4) with a minimum of four substantial projects within FMCG or Retail. C-level credibility, with proven experience building data-backed business cases, presenting to executive boards, and linking technology solutions to concrete financial outcomes like margin expansion or cost reduction. Without a combination of top-tier consulting and deep retail/CPG domain expertise, do not proceed.

About the Company
Enterprise teams still copy data between systems all day. Work gets stuck in emails, legacy UIs, and handoffs — chaos that is costly, slow, and risky. The Client is building the AI operations platform for retail and CPG enterprises: a horizontal platform where AI agents execute end-to-end work across UIs and APIs with governance built in. Where copilots stop, the platform finishes the job — business users specify the outcome, agents plan, act, request approvals on exceptions, and learn with every run. They start with a retail wedge (category management, supply chain, finance ops) and plan to expand to adjacent functions and sectors. Traction is strong; velocity is the moat.
Real FMCG or retail experience. You've worked inside or directly with retailers or CPG companies and understand how category management, trade terms, supply chain, or finance ops actually run. Our customers trust people who've been in their shoes.
Big 4 or top-tier consulting background. You've done transformation engagements at a firm like Deloitte, McKinsey, Accenture, or equivalent. You know how to structure a business case, run a steering committee, and present to a board.
C-level credibility. You can hold your own with COOs, CFOs, and board members. You lead strategic conversations, not just project updates. You tell executives what they need to hear and back it up with data.
Outcome measurement. You know how to define a baseline, track the right metrics, and build an ROI case a CFO would actually forward - concrete impact, not "the team feels more productive."
Expansion mindset. You see the pilot as the beginning. After proving one workflow, you're already thinking about where else in the organisation we should go.
Useful but not required: experience leading multi-unit or multi-geography transformation programmes · hands-on work with automation platforms (RPA, workflow tools) · change management in practice, not just in theory · Czech, French, or a Nordic language.
This is not for you if you want to get into the technical weeds, see customer success as reactive support, or need a fully defined role with established processes. We're creating this function, and you'll shape it as much as it shapes you.
